Am not a coach, but i was coached, every coach wants his players to win.
when i was a player in Europe, i had this English coach that happens to rise on his own and coach people out of his own time, not for money or anything but to make great players, he is a coach with experience, i feel good to have someone that motivates me and make me play better basketball, with someone of that quality makes life and basketball meaningful.
What coaches expect from their players
I was a player and i had several words from coaches that are motivating.
they do all that to make you play hard and good, someone once told me that coaches have 10x wants to win than you the player, if you really wanna be good in the game as the coach wants, you should always play like your life depend on it , how do you do that, always makes your self useful when team needs help, even though you didn't win, make your self important.
How do you make your self important:
Always be calm, don't let your loss control you, in this case, you might always be conscious of time, i'll tell you what; if you are too conscious of time, it makes you force your game and end up in a disaster.
Basketball might be a game which requires lot of energy but at the same time, it is a game which you play with rules and caution, you wont use your energy excessively.
